Environmental Standards for Sheets in Wood Product Packaging Boxes

Boards can be roughly divided into 9 types, such as density board, particle board, veneer board, wood board, plywood, melamine board, glulam, osong board, formaldehyde-free straw board, etc. However, due to different family requirements, the commonly used boards in the market are mainly It is wood board, glulam (finger-jointed board), and a small amount of melamine board, veneer (molded board), MDF, particle board, veneer and plywood.

1: Glulam (finger-joint board): also known as plywood, the common market is the use of poplar or fir to spliced together by means of finger joints, incision joints, etc., which is also called finger joint board.

Specifications: The thickness is generally 18mm, and there are also 16mm. Environmental protection level: E1, E0, and zero formaldehyde are common in big brands; small brands also have E2 grade plates.

2: Wood board: scientific name block board. There are two pieces of veneer in the middle of bonding and pressing and splicing wooden boards. It is composed of wooden strips of the same thickness and different lengths arranged in parallel and tightly spliced together, generally with a five-layer structure.

Specifications: The thickness ranges from about 1.2CM-2.5CM.

3: Veneer: also known as veneer, three plywood, it is made of natural wood sliced or peeled into 0.2-1mm thick slices, and then pasted on plywood, fiberboard, particleboard and other substrates after parquet. This material has clear texture and natural color, and is a more advanced decorative material.

Specifications: generally 2.6-3mm, environmental protection level: E1, E2 are more common.

4: Particleboard: also known as particle board, bagasse board, scrap made of wood or other lignocellulosic materials, artificial board that is glued under the action of heat and pressure after applying adhesive, also known as particle board.

Specifications: Particleboard is divided into three types according to product density: low density (0.25~0.45g/cm3), medium density (0.55~0.70g/cm3) and high density (0.75~1.3g/cm3). There are many specifications of particleboard, with 19 mm as the standard thickness, and the commonly used thicknesses are 13, 16, and 19 mm.

Environmental protection level: E1 and E2 are more common.

5: Melamine board: The full name is melamine impregnated film paper market-based artificial board. It is a decorative board formed by hot pressing paper with different colors or textures into melamine resin adhesive, then drying it to a certain degree of curing, paving it on the surface of particleboard, medium density fiberboard or hard fiberboard.

Specifications: thickness 16-20mm; environmental protection level: E1, E2 are more common.

6: MDF: Also known as fiberboard, it is a kind of man-made board or composite board. It is a man-made board made of wood fiber or other plant fiber and applying urea-formaldehyde resin or other suitable adhesives.

Specifications: Generally, the thickness is from 8-25mm, because the specifications of different brands are slightly different. Environmental protection level: E1, E2, E0 are available

7: Plywood: also known as plywood, commonly known as thin core board in the industry. It is made of three or more layers of 1mm thick veneer or thin plate glued and hot pressed. It is a three-layer or more than three-layer thin plate made of logs that are cut into veneers or sliced into veneers, and then glued together with adhesives, and odd-numbered plywood such as three-in-one, five-in-one, and seven-in plywood.

Specifications: The splint is generally divided into six specifications: 3 pcs, 5 pcs, 9 pcs, 12 pcs, 15 pcs and 18 pcs (1 pc is 1mm), there are 21 pcs and 25 pcs. Environmental protection level: E1 and E2 are more common.
